This painting inspires hope, that after a difficult experience we can pick things up and carry on. I had experienced something very traumatic in April, during the peak of the COVID pandemic. I saw my dog off 11 years be brutally killed by a larger, aggressive dog. It took me months to feel normal. It was one of the most difficult times in my life. Things were made worse as I couldn't see friends and family. Just recently I have started to feel a semblance of normal. I have started to pick up the pieces and I am hoping to move forward. Healing takes time, I hope this painting provides a sense of hope that things can get better.

This painting is on thin canvas, it is ready to hang but may look better in a frame.
