One of my favorite spots near where I live. This little bog is like a bird sanctuary, and is often is shrouded in mist. I believe the trenches are man made, to protect the homes from the tidal Pitt River, located beside us. I find it interesting, even though there has been human tempering, this is a place full of wildlife and seems to prosper. There are three eagle nests perched above, watching all that happens. And sometimes you catch sight of a beaver or muskrat!
This painting changes color a great deal, depending on the lighting you have. There is bronze in the sky which shimmers, a great eye catcher!
